  1. SoundVol XCMD 1.0 update

  3. SoundVol is an XCMD that allows the user to get or set the volume of the
  4. Macintosh internal speaker.
  5.  
  6. To Get the volume use:  SoundVol "Get"
  7.                         SoundVol "G"
  8.  
  9. The volume will be returned in the result.
  10.  
  11. To Set the volume use:  SoundVol "Set",<volume>
  12.                         SoundVol "S",<volume>
  13.  
  14. Where <volume> is a number from 0 to 7. If a number less than 0 is sent,
  15. 0 is used. If a number greater than 7 is sent, 7 is used.

  17. This external is free for purely personal use. A license fee of $10.00
  18. is required if you use this external in any "in-house" corporate,
  19. shareware or freeware products. The license fee for unlimited commercial
  20. use in a SINGLE "for sale" product is $25.00. The license fee for
  21. unlimited commercial use with MULTIPLE products is $100.00.

  23. Permission is hereby granted to all groups who distribute demo software,
  24. either for profit (such as EduCorp) or not for profit (such as a
  25. Macintosh Users Group), to include this file in their collection. My
  26. goal is to get as much exposure for my products as possible, and I
  27. believe that these groups offer an invaluable service to shareware
  28. publishers like myself.
